Don is the Hospital Manager and Head
Technician. Don graduated from Holyoke Community College with an
Associates degree in Arts and Science in 1989. He has been
working as a technician for 23 years. Don was a veterinary
technician in Vermont and Massachusetts before moving to
Connecticut. He joined Dr. Yarrow to operate the Connecticut
Veterinary Housecall Practice in 1992.For six months, Don lived in
Texas and studied with Bob Will's steel guitar player and was the
house steel guitar player for Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth, Texas.Upon
his return, they remodeled and opened Mill Pond Veterinary
Hospital in May 1997. Don loves pedal steel
guitar, Texas Swing and Harleys. |

Jen is our Veterinary Technician. She is
responsible for the smooth operation of our laboratory,
surgery and is very involved in every aspect of our hospital.
Jen was employed at Fire Lite in North Branford and in 2002 came
for an interview. We hired her and never looked back. Jen is
enrolled in the AAHA Veterinary Technician program and is working
towards becoming a certified technician. Jen can be seen at the
front desk, in the lab, assisting during appointments, assisting in
surgery, helping with dentistries, doing treatments and just being
there to help all the time. |
