With the use of a surgical laser we are able to remove most lumps and bumps on appointment with only local anesthetic. When using a veterinary laser, only an intense beam of laser light touches the tissues. The laser is so precise that it can selectively remove only a few cells at a time. Often we don’t need stitches because when using the laser you have less bleeding, less swelling and much less pain!
We are proud to have Dr. Deborah Yarrow here. She has spoken at several national veterinary conventions and instructed on the national level for Ultra Lase Surgical Laser Company. She spent several years traveling the U.S. teaching other veterinarians how to employ this less invasive and less painful surgical option. Ask us if laser surgery is an appropriate surgical method for your pet.
