Steve joined our team in 2021 and has a strong background in emergency veterinary medicine as a technician. As a Rhode Island transplant who moved to Connecticut 6 years ago, Steve lives with 2 dogs, 5 cats, 2 bearded dragons, and 2 ferrets. Before he found his passion in veterinary medicine Steve was an E-6 in the Air Force and Army for 12 years where he worked as a medic and electronic countermeasures technician. Between deployments to Afghanistan, Germany, Guam, and Diego Garcia he attended several colleges and earned an A.A.S. in Avionic Electronic Systems, a B.A. in Psychology, EMT-basic certification, and has applied to be a veterinarian. He's an avid musician, a cook and a gamer, and spends his free time attending college courses, watching movies, anime, collecting comics, playing drums, woodworking, gardening, and painting.
